About Me

I was born in Odessa, Ukraine, and raised in beautiful California where I've lived most of my life. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley and my Masters in Physical Therapy at California State University in Long Beach.

Over the years I've also worked as a computer engineer, started and operated a pet care business, and raised produce and livestock on local organic farms. I remain an engineer at heart, but have shifted my focus to the human body.

I've been serving the needs of Santa Cruz and surrounding communities for the last decade. You may have met me in a local clinic or just around town. I've started offering mobile Physical Therapy services tailored to the individual goals and and needs of clients in the comfort of their homes.

As an orthopedic specialist and clinical instructor, I have extensive experience with post-surgical rehab, sports injuries, neck and low back pain, sprains, fractures, and arthritis, as well as coaching and training to enable your goals.

Frequent Questions

What do you charge?

Rates start at $200 per hour, and can vary based on travel distance.

Do you accept insurance?

All services are private-pay, and billed at time of appointment. We can provide a superbill upon request that you can submit to your insurance provider to seek reimbursement. Your insurance provider will classify these services as "out of network care." Private-pay enables a direct contract between you and your therapist, with no third-party (insurance) reviews, restrictions, or limits.

What about Medicare?

I offer wellness appointments that will be tailored to your needs and do not require a referral. Medicare will not reimburse wellness visits.

Do I need a referral?

California is a Direct Access state, meaning private-pay patients do not require a prescprition for physical therapy from their physician before starting treatment. If you have a referral, we will happily coordinate with your physician on your plan of care.

What areas do you serve?

I serve the greater Santa Cruz Metro area - extending between Bonny Doon, Scotts Valley, and Watsonville.
